Wow! I have been a trainer for many years and always felt that "shock" collars were not a humane way of training until our new dog just stopped barking for no reason. I tried the vibration and "shock" mode on myself before putting it on. First, the vibration mode is a gentle shaking of the device. My kids and I enjoyed going through it to try each level. Second, the shock mode isn't the kind of shock these devices are used to. This is a static shock, such as B. dragging your feet across the floor and then touching someone hoping it will be a shock for fun. Level 100 is not interesting. Just for your information. And no, I didn't let my kids try shock mode. In one day our dog stopped ALL bad behavior. I've only used Percussive mode once. I start by asking her to stop barking and turn on her horn. She wasn't listening so I used a level 50 vibration. She got confused and kept barking a little. I gave her enough commands to stop and gave her a level 50 shock mode. She immediately lay down and stopped. I've never used shock mode since then. She is very smart and understood that the beep is meant seriously. I'd say she listens with a beep 90% of the time and just vibrates the other 10% at level 25. I ONLY wanted this because of the problematic barking, but she is an absolute angel in every way. She no longer even begs for food or mugs her family when they enter. She calmed down and became gentler with my children. She's still the happy, goofy, 90-pound Bernese Mountain dog she always was, but with manners. It's only been 3 days and everyone is very happy with the result. I love that the seller contacted us twice to make sure everything was ok. It was also easy to set up and use. I couldn't be happier to be able to talk to people outside and not hear them bark like a psychopath. My dog is now a good dog on the block 🐾♥
