I have very soft plush pillows that I can shape and love how they feel. This cover changes the feel and they are no longer soft and accommodating to my needs - which is why I don't like these pillowcases. However, they do an excellent job of protecting your pillow from everything, including dust! They're damn tight. You unzip the cover and zip it up and it keeps the air in and I have to unzip it and then unzip it to let the air out and then zip it back up until the zip is closed but the air is out still being pulled back into the pillow. And this is what changes the feel of my pillows as the trapped air changes the shape and ability to mold the pillow to my needs throughout the night. Very waterproof! Make sure they stay inside out while drying or they won't dry out. They feel soft and are comfortable on the skin. But they also cling to my disheveled arms and I hate that feeling so I'd leave a pillowcase on if I were going to keep using them. But since they change the feel of my pillow and therefore my sleeping comfort, I will donate them to a women's shelter or orphanage (who will ever need one of these most).
