I bought this to use as shade and weather protection over the galley of my teardrop trailer - it fits perfectly. This awning is very versatile as it can be used with and without poles when attached to a trailer (or at the back of the car if you have a hatchback or at the side if you don't have one) with one end on the ground attached , or with included poles to make it look more like a standard awning. In any case, there is plenty of space. It's versatile even without a vehicle - just use your imagination! The ventilated top and window help prevent windy starts. It is very well made and quite stable. Note. This pack comes with 2 poles only - in the attached pictures where it says alone on 4 poles I used 2 poles from other gear I already had. I have had some issues with my order through no fault of OffRoadingGear.com and have been communicating with John the company manager via text and email. He was very responsive and took care of everything in a timely manner - he made me feel like a valued customer and I would not hesitate to buy from them again. I highly recommend both the product and the company.
