Unfortunately it arrived with some small scratches and water seeping from it. It was either a return or tested at factory and not fully dried and the few scratches had me doubting it was factory water. I suspected a return. If it was factory, I'd hope they'd dry them fully and that one with scratches was an odd duck. The packaging was of good quality so I doubt that is normal when buying from them. Moreover, it occured to me they may or may not meet US plumbing standards that keeps certain toxic chemicals out of production. At the time, when I ordered it, the site didn't claim to meet any manufacturering for plumbing standards or advertise it. If they had, I would have had them send a replacement that I knew was new as I wanted this style of faucet, but decided I decided to opt for a brick and mortar store faucet that I could be certain meets certain minimum standards.I bought a Moen that was poorly packed. The first one was broken and the second one scratched so Wewe did a better job then namebrand did. I think expensive, namebrands have become lazy, and make poor quality now days. This is where companies like Wewe can out perform.WeWe was packed much better and the style didn't try as hard. It was simple, good looking, and matched my RO faucet .I would have returned the Wewe and swapped for a new Wewe had I known they met plumbing standards for the states. This company emailed me and tried to make it right, but I had already installed the namebrand. This seller had paper work for the plumbing standards in the email which was associated with the appropriate organizations and after doing some digging appears to be legitimate. As far as I can tell, I got unlucky with my order, but the customer serviced seemed to care, they are certified for stateside use, they look better in my opion, and they are affordable. I would try them again the next time I need a faucet.I am giving them 5 stars because while my purchase was frustrating, I do not think it is the norm. I also believe in updating a rating when customer service makes a genuine quality effort. And as I said, if I had that documentation earlier knowing it met plumbing standards, I would have just swapped the dud out. Wewe is an affordable good looking faucet.
