I programmed it and it works great. Will update the rating if it fits the job. There are two ways to program this. The first way makes this keychain the ONLY one that works. The second way makes a second keychain that works like your current keychain. In other words, the first way makes that fob the only one that unlocks the car etc. The second method makes a DIFFERENT fob that unlocks the car etc. I bought this as a second fob for myself and my wife used the factory one key fob, so I had to program this key fob using the second method. The key position before starting the engine is called position 2 (P2). To program it as an individual key fob: Unlock doors. Insert key and switch from off to P2. Press the lock button on the key fob, and then turn the key off. Repeat until you hear a cycle of locks (4 times). You must use a real key, not the gray key. If the locks grind, you're done. To program the second fob: Same as the first method until you hear the lock cycle. Before turning the key off after programming, press the lock on the existing key fob. Then both key fobs control the car.
