Review on πŸš— NGVA3 Black SiriusXM Magnetic Antenna Mount - Enhance Vehicle Connectivity with Style by Robert Moloney

This fixed the poor reception on my BMW R1200RT motorcycle with Sirius XM OEM Radio

Sure, BMW uses a weird connector plug, but this one works if you just remove the pink plastic connector around the socket on the bike's end cap. Pry the insertable plastic clip on the fork (look for a slightly different color plastic) with a knife. It will break as it is very fragile. Then lift the small tab holding the connector in place. You can then remove the plastic and dispose of the branded BMW scrap. The bare connector then fits snugly into the other end of this antenna and will not come loose. Cover the whole thing with shrink wrap or tape if you like, but weatherproofing doesn't seem to be a requirement as the original connector wasn't weatherproof. After installing it I walked a few hundred miles through some narrow gorges and to my surprise it picked up a signal almost all the time and in many places I wasn't expecting it. The old antenna was junk in comparison, it seemed every tree near the highway was interfering and cutting off the signal. I MOVED the antenna from the inside of the front cover to the top mounting position. It's very small, like a big chunky candy. The only downside was the 23ft cable it came with, about 22ft more than I needed. I just rolled it up and hid it in the case. This antenna is a truly amazing improvement over what came with the bike.
