Review on 📻 TWAYRDIO Dual Band NMO Antenna 144/430MHz: VHF UHF Mobile Radio Antenna (Requires NMO Mount) by Joseph Hall

I received this antenna today and immediately started testing it with my electronic instruments. To be honest I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I installed this antenna on the roof of a large car using a TRAM NMO Mag Mount (see photo). So far this purchase has exceeded my expectations. The antenna has been properly tuned to amateur VHF and UHF bands. The SWR on VHF is 1.04:1 and on UHF it is 1.51:1. After testing this antenna on a vector impedance analyzer I think I can lower the SWR on UHF by moving 3/8 inch from the element move away, but the antenna it can be used immediately. good item. I'm tempted to buy another one to keep as a spare or as a gift. 73.. UPDATE: I trimmed 1/4" from the bottom and lowered the SWR by 70 cm from 1.51 to 1.40. The SWR at 2 meters stayed the same and was 1.04. Hooray.
