carpets work fine but the smell was TERRIBLE. I read other reviews about the fragrance and decided to take a chance. For comparison, I bought a different set of rubber mats from a completely different seller for my other car at the same time and the smell was gone after a few days. But not these carpets. I would have sent them back but I stupidly cut them open before realizing the smell would linger for so long. I washed the mats with soap and water and let them air dry for 2 days, it didn't matter. I soaked them in a bath of vinegar, soap, and warm water (according to a random solution I found online) and then left them in the sun for another 3 days. They still stink. I ended up having to air them out for a few more weeks before the smell went away. I've had them in my car for about 2 months with no problems but if I had known how much trouble it would be to get them to this point I wouldn't have bought them. Keep in mind!
