It will get the job done, but get it in a larger size than you need.

This should help me avoid blowing fuses as often, and it does. But the problem is that it's cheap. I am using a Rockville RVA-M3 4000w peak/1000w CEA RMS auto mono amp at 1 ohm. The amplifier has 3 fuses of 40 amps. When I stress my system heavily, I get about 4 minutes to say this switch is tripping. Then it says wait about 15 minutes before being told I can get him to stay busy. My 120 amp amp has never blown a fuse so 150 amps should last but it doesn't. I suggest if you're buying cheap like me, make sure you overdo it. Only really there for short circuit protection. Soon I will switch to 200 amps.
