This is the third attempt to get region free portable DVD player. The previous two could not work properly when connected to an external TV. This one failed in a different way. Kuau managed to convey the visual aspect with decent quality; However, audio playback from the device did not stop while streaming audio to an external TV. This created an echo from the external TV and the Cooau unit. The volume was also controlled by the DVD player; This means if I lower the volume or mute the Cooau player, the external audio output is also muted. I am not sure if the device I received is defective or was designed to be defective. If it was designed that way, I think it's a pretty stupid design. Why do you need an AV output/connection when the sound of the device continues to play and the AV signal is redirected to an external device? This is a very disappointing and bazar experience. I am very annoyed that I have to go to the UPS store again. If someone is planning to use this device to watch DVDs on a big TV, be aware that most likely this DVD player will not be able to cope with your task.
