Worked great for two or three weeks but unfortunately it failed and started leaking like CRAZY. I have tried several reptile humidifiers and this one has disappointed me again. Almost every 2 liters of water flowed out of the seam where the water tank was in contact with the tank. At first I thought my terrarium was just really dry, but after I put the device in the bucket I found that about 70% of the water ran out. The entire humidifier won't even turn on anymore due to water damage from a leak. I even used distilled water and a hydrostat to control the humidity, but unfortunately it broke anyway. I would save the money and buy a cheap humidifier in addition to the hydrostat.
