Well designed ice tray needs a bit of work

I love this ice tray so much I own all four colors at the same time. Our family makes a lot of ice cream and sorbets and we give them away in pint gift boxes. β€” DESIGN β€” There is nothing more beautiful on the market than an ice cream container. You have four colors to coordinate with your kitchen or to choose the type of ice cream you are putting on. The long design is the obvious shape of the ice cream bucket, so you can easily scoop from one end to the other to get a nice round ball of ice cream. If you have several glasses, you can store them side by side or on top of each other in the fridge. Each can consists of three parts: β€’ White lid β€’ Paint container β€’ Transparent outer container. the part breaks and you have more than one set, you can swap the parts. The tub holds up to 1.5 liters of ice cream, which is a typical volume whipped up by an ice cream machine. The frosted outer container serves as an insulator. If you leave your tub covered on the counter, the ice won't melt as quickly. If you fill it with ice and put it in the freezer it will take a little longer to freeze completely, but once it's as cold as it should be it will stay that way longer. The bottom of the transparent tub is covered with rubber. Contouring the edges to prevent the ice cream from slipping off when scooping - LID - Some people complain that the white lid doesn't fit tightly. It shouldn't be tight, it should be easy to remove. If that lid was tightly closed and you have a tub full of ice cream, it could freeze and take a hell of a long time to open. I bought Zach! Designs An insulated ice bucket that is sometimes incredibly difficult (and almost impossible) to open. Again, the lid should be loose. - QUALITY - I already mentioned the breakage because one of mine actually ripped hence the one star deduction. I think what happened was that either the ice expanded and the bottom of the colored piece cracked, or I dropped it on the ice cream counter with the contents inside. In any case, a crack on an internal colored element does not really affect its functionality. It's cracked but still holds ice without leaking so I keep using it. β€” DESIGN REVIEW β€” As an industrial designer, my main suggestion is that the colored container should be a bit thicker on all sides or made of modified plastic. Material that does not tear easily. There is plenty of space between the paint can and the outer can, so increasing the thickness of the paint can will help prevent cracking and still fit the current design of the clear can and is a good choice (despite the potential for cracking). highlighted.
