
After researching on the internet I was under the impression that it should be 0.5-1 micron since it is a green compound. This compound has a grain size of 7-5 microns (funny that it has to be one or the other). Your description clearly says 7-5 microns but the title doesn't list the grit so that's my fault. The green compound consists of chromium oxide with a fairly fine grain size (at least less than 1 micron, many averaging 0.5 microns). It really can't be removed on your belt so I think I'm stuck on that.
