Review on Enhanced Motorola 56320 Talkabout Earpiece with Boom Microphone (No Longer Available from Manufacturer) by Deejay Allard

Works but has clear defects

The device arrived today and after a little testing the sound and microphone are working properly. I use this with my Motorola EM1000Rs. The sound is loud and clear, and the boom mic really projects. Problem? The speaker itself is very poorly constructed. It's designed as a very well thought out blue tooth font, but the thickness is a big issue. It curves the top of your earlobe and gives the impression that your ears are uneven. The bottom part connects to a small plastic lever that you CANNOT adjust, so pretty impractical. The weight is unbalanced due to the microphone, so you always feel it's weak. I use it for work and if I walk too much I have to adjust it. Running will bring him down. I ended up having to modify it with a file, glue and a counterweight to make it fit and feel right. Pros: Great sound, microphone works well. Cons: Bulky speaker, unbalanced weight, hurts ears. All in all, it can be a good chunk if you're willing to change it up like I've had to. But again, if you need to change the design yourself, you can buy another model.
