Not suitable for hands free

I was trying to find a system that would work well with a hands free walkie talkie. It's lacking, despite being one of the best I've tried. It cuts off half of your sentence at the beginning and you literally have to put the mic in your mouth and speak in your normal voice. This obviously doesn't work if you're in a place where you can't speak normally and need to be quieter. In any case, it's very convenient, you just have to press the button on the walkie-talkie. The headset itself should…

Great for Airsoft/Paintball

My wife and I use these headsets and we are both happy with them. This headset is comfortable and the bottom hinge keeps it snug and comfortable on the ear. After a few hours of use, I don't even notice this is on, compared to some other headsets. It also fits comfortably under our ski goggles (Vforce Shield and JT Spectra) as well as over the ear. The speaker does not noticeably interfere with ambient noise, which is important when stalking other airsoft and/or woodball players. The only thing

Works but has clear defects

The device arrived today and after a little testing the sound and microphone are working properly. I use this with my Motorola EM1000Rs. The sound is loud and clear, and the boom mic really projects. Problem? The speaker itself is very poorly constructed. It's designed as a very well thought out blue tooth font, but the thickness is a big issue. It curves the top of your earlobe and gives the impression that your ears are uneven. The bottom part connects to a small plastic lever that you CANNOT

great product Best in Category Headsets & Mics

My buddy and I have used the Motorola 56320 Headset and Boom Microphones a number of times over the past year. We use them in conjunction with Motorola VOX enabled walkie-talkies. They are very comfortable and work as advertised. We have a small complaint. You wouldn't believe it, but I can argue that a cheap 10 cent mic windscreen is the most important component of this product. I discovered this the hard way. The windscreen is not attached to the microphone with adhesive. Over time, the…

Doesn't fit your ear perfectly

I use this mic for paintball games and it works great but it doesn't fit perfectly in your ear unless you wear a mask because the mask presses the mic against your ear. As I don't know of a good Motorola VOX throat mic, this is still the best VOX mic for Motorola radios. The only problem is the delay between the moment you start speaking and the moment the radio starts transmitting (about 2 seconds). ) when using a feature that doesn't require you to press a button to speak. So you should start

Works well - better than dead talk

My wife and I love to ride bikes but it's difficult riding side by side on practice trails. This way we can use some of Motorola's old voice-activated conversations to constantly talk to each other while driving. You really have to stretch out your first word to activate it and wait for the second to finish before you speak, but the last one is good practice anyway! I just have to remember to stop talking immediately so my wife can respond! We did a 27 mile bike ride the other day and are very…

Good sound quality and comfortable to wear

For the last 6 years I have used these earphones with my Motorola T5420 about 20-30 times a year, about 3-5 hours each time. So far the sound quality has been good both in the speaker and what I spoke through the speaker. The earbud itself was quite comfortable to wear and it's very easy to switch between the left and right sides. After so many years, I discovered earlier this month (April 2011) that the rubber cover on the cable to the right of the 2.5mm plug was simply torn. I mean the rubber
