Review on DEWALT DCD991P2 Lithium Brushless 3 Speed: Power-packed Performance at Your Fingertips by Adam Domaski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

First of all, this is a construction prof. Shurik, and this must be understood. If you take it as a reserve for the house, this is more of a minus and in most household tasks its power will be excessive and interfering. Another question, if you know why you are taking it (fishing, construction, etc.) and / or you have a less powerful Shurik for more delicate work, then the purchase is justified. As a universal one, I would not recommend this one, I would take the 791 model.

Pros
  • Powerful and moderately compact model.
Cons
  • - The ratchet is extremely insensitive, it twists all the small fasteners and, if not released in time, either scrolls or tears off the cap if the mating material is dense. For example, to a 40mm thick ash tabletop, I screwed the legs onto black 30mm wood screws. At the first speed of the gearbox and the first sensitivity of the ratchet out of 16 self-tapping screws, five hats were torn off simply due to the fact that for a split second it stuck and did not release the button. And it would have torn off all the rest, if it had not adapted. Long 100mm self-tapping screws must be tightened with the correct bit, which fits exactly under the fasteners and does not play, otherwise, due to the resistance force, it will simply lick the head. Most of all I liked to turn capercaillie with a bolt head with this screwdriver. Here it has no equal. Well, drilling of almost any materials (except for concrete, mulberry is better than perf) is also his element. - constantly when opening the suitcase, the removable handle falls out of its compartment in the suitcase, which is extremely annoying. They cannot be stored assembled and in order to close the suitcase back, the handle must be corrected.
