I really like magnets. As far as I know, they're only this side of magic. Once rare and expensive, neodymium magnets are now as cheap as chips. I use them on everything from fridge magnets to box lids and the like. These particular magnets differ in that they are finished in black color instead of the usual shiny chrome finish. This is good for applications where you don't want to draw attention to the magnet. You will receive ten magnets with plastic spacers and ten strips of original 3M double-sided adhesive tape. The magnets are painted black, but small chips and defects inherent in this type of magnet are still visible. Dimensions I measured: Length - 59mm Width - 9.3mm Height - 2.7mm Weight - 11.7g Capacity - 21.3 x 5 cards on steel surface Dimensions are within 20% manufacturing tolerance. The holding power is on par with other magnets I have with the same dimensions. However, 4mm thick magnets are better for attaching calendars or other thick materials to a steel surface. A limitation. These magnets are inherently brittle and can break if dropped or magnetically bond themselves. The pieces are sharp and can be dangerous for small children. Overall I am very happy with these magnets. I have a few ideas for projects where they would be appropriate.
