Review on 💯 Ultimate Kohler 1131482 Ultraglide Complete Assembly: Unbeatable Quality and Performance by Juan Huerta

I had a valve that was broken and stuck all the way into the assembly. My first valve was a Kohler GP77006-RP before the Ultraglide series. Since I couldn't get it off I had to replace the entire assembly with this Ultraglide series. I wish the instructions were a little better but I was able to replace my original valve assembly with this item which fits my original handle and spout fittings. just like my original. Installing this assembly was a bit easier as it uses bolts to finally tighten the assembly rather than fully tightening the nut like my original (it gets very tight under the sink). It wasn't clear how tight the outlet line connection needed to be, and the instructions said nothing about over tightening, so I pulled it all the way down with a wrench and then another pinch. Since my set was older, it didn't use a grommet to separate the handle from the post, so I had to apply some plumbing around the underside of the handle's base to prevent water from seeping into the holes at the top of the post. A few people have mentioned that the valve is noisier and I think I noticed that it is a bit noisier than my original ceramic valve, but I am happy with the purchase and was able to fix the faucet without spending money on a new kit.
