I bought this in October 2013 and have been using it every week since to make homemade jams. It has served us well and I wish I could give it 5 stars but lately it has started to fall apart. A black plastic film is visible on the bottom edge of the device and is starting to crack and peel off. We've never run a bucket through the dishwasher; hand wash only. And we never had anything but ice cream. So maybe 2 years of continuous use is all I should expect, but I'm disappointed that I may now have to replace it with something more permanent.
