Review on Alternator Chevrolet Silverado Avalanche 10392759 by Michael Hall
Don't buy it unless you want to add annoying noise to your truck.
Disappointed with this generator. I bought this alternator to replace an OEM because the bearings had failed. I replaced it with this alternator in my 2005 Silverado 1500. This alternator makes a loud whistling turbine noise that is louder than the reason I replaced the OEM alternator in the first place. This purchase was a waste of time and now I'm stuck waiting for another alternator.
