Giving the paint a little more time to cure will greatly improve the quality of the product. The blocks don't stick together very well and one of the blocks in my set broke in two. The colors are bright, but when you separate them, the paint peels off here and there. They stick together too tight to break them with your hands. The best way I've found to separate them is to hit them with a wooden spoon. This does the least damage and takes them apart fairly quickly. The children were there when I opened the package and they were very happy about it, otherwise I would have just sent them back.
