Sturdy, well made, works great but has functional limitations.

I may have exaggerated the functionality of this product. It's durable and well made, works exactly as intended, and has full RF protection built into the design. When I received it, I took my keys, put them in a silver pouch, closed it and fastened the flap with Velcro. He took it to the car, tried to open the door, open the tailgate - no reaction. The same reaction in the car to the PTS button. The dilemma is that in order to get into my car I have to take it out of my pocket and then leave it out of my pocket to start the car, which kinda defeats the purpose this bag was made for. Great product, works great but if a thief is surreptitiously eavesdropping on your car's response to grab the RF key I don't see where there is so much protection when you need to expose the key fob to unlock and start the car . That being said, I suspect that every time you use your car, the velcro can wear out from opening and closing. Perfect concept, beautifully executed but with some functional issues. Oh, and don't start the car, put the key fob back in your pocket, and then when you stop the car and get out, close and shut the door behind you. You have locked yourself out of your car because your key fob is locked inside and your car normally does not allow you to lock the door with the key fob inside the car; The car doesn't know it's there.

Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
