To be honest I wasn't expecting much for this price. I have to admit that I was wrong. This is a quality product. The remote control is easy to understand and you can use the same remote control for multiple collars. I love the fact that it has sound and vibration alerts. I would rather use them than actually shock my pup. The first time there is no beep, then the vibro. The vibration is strong and immediately attracts the dog's attention. As soon as the dog understands the command and does what is asked of him, I remove the collar. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THIS ON YOUR DOG! According to the instructions, you shouldn't leave it on for long. It's okay if you don't use firing pins. If so, only wear it during training and take it off immediately afterwards or remove the spikes so they don't dig in the pup's throat. The battery in the remote control and collar stays charged for a very long time. I give treats when putting on and taking off. So the dog doesn't associate it with anything negative and wants to learn something because he gets Trvat for it. The lock feature is so cool. No accidental keystrokes!
