Review on Metcal MX H2 UF UltraFine Soldering Hand Piece by Michael Reynolds
Poor quality control on UltraFine tips, multiple shipping defects and a broken probe. Easy to use in development lab.
On arrival we received several poor quality nibs out of the box and a broken tip with these new Metcal UltraFine irons. Love the ultra thin tips, they can be recycled up to 0402. 0201 Hello. The UltraFine tips and brushes would be a 5 star solution if it wasn't for the absolutely terrible reliability and quality control. Use them with some old MX500 consumables on a lightweight lab development bench.
