I bought these rugs to go in the kitchen. I have a new puppy and I needed something that was washable and inexpensive. I also wanted something very thin so that the outer door could easily slide over it. These carpets make it possible. I also like the look of the carpets. They are easy to wash. I don't put them in the dryer, but they come out of the washing machine almost dry. Just lay them in place to dry. My problem is with the larger of the two rugs. It's really too narrow for its length. Also the stripe at the beginning and then on the opposite side of the mat should be the same. It had to start with a black stripe and end with a black stripe. It ends with a white stripe so it looks kind of unfinished. Overall, these rugs are fit for purpose for which I bought them.
