Review on High Lumen Tactical Flashlight With 5 Modes, Zooming And Water Resistance - Ideal For Camping, Hiking, Emergencies And Outdoor Activities By KEPEAK LED by Gregory Sirgio

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Cheap bulky penlight

I’m not sure how these rate five-star reviews. I can’t test it, but my guess is that the Lumen rating is an outright lie - I have lower Lumen rated flashlights that are brighter by substantial orders of magnitude. These are on-par with the old single-AAA battery incandescent penlights. The aluminum housing is ok - very light gauge - but it’s unnecessarily bulky, and the bubble lens and low-output LED is only useful to an effective range of 20-30 feet. This is item for the glovebox in a pinch if you need to light up a lug nut or something, and for $7 it’s probably reasonable, but there are better choices. It’s a stocking stuffer, not a legit handheld light solution.I’d return the item but it’d cost me more for gas than I’d get back on the return.

Pros
  • All good with it
Cons
  • The flashlight’s brightness can attract bugs, making it difficult to use in outdoor settings
