After six years of intensive use on the daily commute to work and on vacation, this rear light has finally given up the ghost, so of course I ordered a new one. After years of using small and cheap poor quality flashlights I would never buy any other model again. I like the pulsing light and am a little disappointed that the new version also has strobe lights - strobe lights really annoy me. The case is incredibly strong - I had to carry a hammer to my old one to get the battery for recycling. The only downside I see is that the pivot point tends to jam - this isn't necessary if it's attached to the seatpost, but if you need a different attachment point it can get annoying. All in all a bright and reliable workhorse.
