Whoever thought it was a good idea to have something for a car key and protect it was a genius because it serves the purpose just like the case that you put in your phone stuck you fall This is no different than protecting your key fob from any damage you might cause by dropping it, as a damaged key fob becomes an inoperable key fob and you cannot remotely open or even start your car doors, awesome I say.
