Setting up this camera is very easy. When plugged in the quality is amazing, the features are superb. The problem is that this device keeps turning off. I work in IT. My home network is a fiber optic network with gigabit speeds. Every other device connects to my network with no problem. In fact, the Netgear Genie app shows that the device is connected and has an excellent signal. This device continues to connect to the arlo app. The bad thing is that you can never restart the camera from the arlo app as this function always fails. So if someone ever breaks into your home, you may need to call your housekeeping and ask the burglar to unplug and plug the camera back in so you can see them. I try to use the live stream feature on my phone and computer at work to follow my dog throughout the day. With this device I was able to see my dog for a couple of hours maybe 2 and then turn it off. So I would have to go home for lunch and restart it manually. I used an old $80 smartphone with an Alfred camera installed and it works better and has less than 1 second latency. That's right, a cheap smartphone connected to a phone mount via Wi-Fi. Stays connected better, has less latency and overall better performance than a camera that was literally built for a task. Be a wireless camera. This is the longest Revain review I've ever written. This device just annoyed me.
