I increased the Avid BB7 wheels on my city bike from 160mm to 203mm. I bought Avid IS caliper adapters to make the transition. I ride in urban conditions with some long descents due to the hilly terrain here in Seattle. I'm a big guy with a heavy bike so bigger rims were needed. I found the 203 barely fitting, with only 1-2mm clearance from the outside edge of the disc to the inside of the fork leg. Enough to clean without friction. After installing the discs, I saw that the inner leg of my fork has a cut-out that allows the use of discs with a diameter of up to approx. 180 mm. So the 203s were a stretch. Before purchasing size 203 rotors, inspect your fork to determine if there have been any changes to the fork design. I installed the G2 on Shimano Centerlock hubs using a Shimano Centerlock 6 bolt adapter. The 203mm G2s work well and I feel more confident on long descents and there is noticeably less cushioning at the bottom of the hill. I use Avid organic steel based pads. The discs came in the original Avid packaging. There were 6 screws in the kit which I didn't use due to using the centerlock adapter.
