The compact coffee grinder idea is fantastic. The mechanism in these grinders works better than I expected. They hold a decent amount, I travel to work and use them daily, I only have to refill them every 2 or 3 weeks. Now the cons: the price is quite high and what you get is small, easy to make and not exactly what I would call "high quality" or "show item" but very functional. Second (and which is my biggest issue) it comes with a cheap faux leather case to store the set. But the bag is too short and doesn't even match the product. There is a cord for "closing" the bag/pouch, but since it is too short to hold the sliders, when you tighten and tie the cord, do the tips of the sliders stick out/stick out?!? A bag is essential as they are designed for travel so they stay together and don't get scratched. Well, about 2 weeks after purchase, I grab a bag of choppers from my holdall for the first fill-up, walk across the kitchen to my salt and peppercorns for dressing, and one of the attachments slips completely out of the bag (despite the fact that they're so deep in the pocket as possible and the cord is tightened and tied) it hits the ground with "UDD" and the top half of the grinder is partially pulled out of the transparent part of the window and is now crooked or bent. I tried several ways to get it seated properly but nothing worked. All that's left for me to do is clamp it in a vice and force it backwards or tap it with a small hammer!?!. Now they're made for travel, so the bag/bag look is essential. But why can't you make a bag that really fits you at this price point? I do not understand. I would buy from this company again at any time. Nice idea but for the price what you get is a bit disappointing. There are other similar products on the market, maybe one of them is better.
