The size is not very good.
I'm 5ft 5in, 146lbs, waist 30in. I wear size S for shirts and trousers. Compression and muscles are visible. They are comfortable but a bit thin. The hem is very narrow and falls out over size XS. The good thing is that they stretch and work well as a base layer. Don't wear them alone as the bow tie won't be around and my stuff will slip through unless you like zipping around the house.
