Are they worth it? To be sure!

I've ordered 12 of these subwoofers in the last year because people keep wanting to buy my system when they hear about it. None of the 12 subwoofers have ever had a blown voice coil, and trust me when I say they play at high volume all the time. Here's a little tip for those interested in rocking a drum kit at an incredible price. I recommend buying two or more of these subwoofers depending on how much space you have in your car. If you have a truck with a cab, 2 of these subwoofers will punch clearly and satisfactorily. If you have an extended cab truck or small sedan you will need at least 3 to add cone space to the extra airspace. In an SUV I would recommend 4 to add cone space to the extra airspace. Since these subs are available from Revain for around $25, buying multiple subs won't weigh too much on your pocket. I recommend using a Boss Riot 1100W amp on any subwoofer you plan to use. Amplifiers can be purchased from Revain for an amazing price of $50 each! Most car and truck batteries can handle the amps connected to them, but do not try to listen to your system when the car is off as this will destroy your battery and you will have to recharge it. This amp works well with these subwoofers for a number of reasons, firstly they are made by the same manufacturer brand which means that if you were to use a different brand amp or subwoofer they are tuned to complement each other's performance just wouldn't work. sound just as good because one has a peak at certain frequencies that the other isn't designed to handle. Second, the amp power is 1100 watts and the subwoofer is 1500 watts, which means that as long as you set the amp power to just over half, you're getting maximum power without worrying about ruining anything. It is also recommended to use a 4 gauge power and ground wire and please ensure you have a good ground for your amps and that they should be in different locations if using multiple amps. Do not run speaker wire or auxiliary wiring near power cords. I prefer to listen to other music and always install a sealed cabinet rather than a pendant or strip cabinet. The air space required for the subwoofer is 0.8 cu. ft. Most aftermarket cases will be 1cc. So if you go the aftermarket route, I suggest you nail a piece of 9" x 9" 3/4 MFF into the shell with liquid nails, then fill 25% of the shell with fluffy polyfiber from any cheap pillow and install the subs upside down. I had to reverse polarity on mine, which means you can do it. Finally, the subwoofers take a little break while they adjust to the airspace of your enclosure and loosen up the new voice coil. So it's probably a good idea to listen at an average volume for a few hours before you start shaking. I hope this helps those interested in these wonderful subwoofers.
