I don't know how we can send a man to the moon and after 48 years still can't make a toaster as toast. We should call toasters devices that "toast when they feel like it." Toaster? Not as much. You only have to use it a few times until you find out how long the bread needs to stay inside with the heat on until it's browned to your satisfaction. This is art. I doubt ordinary bagel slices could fit in the slots, English muffin slices barely fit. And don't even try half a chilled biscuit. But it wasn't as expensive as toasters. And better than using a toaster that drives my dog crazy. So - buy this cheap "toaster" and understand its quirks and you will be satisfied with your purchase.
