I never thought I would write a 5 star review for a caulking gun but here it is. As an enthusiastic hobbyist and woman, I have been hunting for many years. But I've always bought cheap cartridge guns because I figured it couldn't make much of a difference. Well all of our windows needed re-sealing and this appeared as an 'add-on'. Basically, I wanted a "C" shaped grip that would allow the gun to hang from a ladder while in use. This product is so much more! It has soft grips that my 'over 55' arthritis sufferers appreciate. It doesn't require a lot of hand strength to work, which is another plus. It has a "C" shaped handle and hangs from the ladder in multiple places so you don't have to bend down much to pick up the caulking gun again. But best of all, it's a ratchet-less push mechanism. So if you pause while squeezing the handle, IT IS SO! Sealant no longer pulses at the tip even when you pull back on the handle. With these weapons you don't have to! The sealant stops flowing when you let go, but still flows perfectly as long as you squeeze the handle. Either way, it's worth a few bucks more compared to the cheap guys I've been buying for years. I would definitely buy this again!
