Xbox Series X: Don't be put off by the negative reviews

Look I felt like I was going to take a chance buying this thing with all the weird negative reviews I've seen. Although I shouldn't have worried. This thing looks phenomenal and plays incredibly smooth on the Series X. PROS: + The display is great even when set to 1080p and 120Hz. Of course, I used a fairly old (albeit very good) 48-inch Samsung TV at 1080p. would be too big for a desktop setup but perfect in the end. I'm sitting 3-4 feet from the monitor and I can't see a Pixel+ on it. It's lighter in color than I thought it would be. I had no idea The Outer Worlds or Assassin's Creed Odyssey+ could look this good. It's durable and the stand is all metal. It even has a handy headphone hook on the back. CONS - *** You can't currently run this thing at 1440p @ 120Hz on Series X. You can on PC but not on console. You can switch between 1440p@60Hz and 1080p@120Hz. But believe me, it's not nearly as bad as you think, especially if you're used to console gaming. This monitor will probably surprise you, especially for the price.*** - It's not very adjustable. Can generally lean up and down to a minimal extent. Note that it's large and bulky for a monitor, so it might not be the best size for some settings. - It doesn't have speakers. You always need a headset or external speakers to play. All in all for the price: unbeatable. I am very happy. The shooters play smooth and fast and the RPGs look incredible. A great choice for next-gen consoles if you're on a budget (you probably should be during those times lol).
