Review on Enhance Maintenance with Pit Posse Universal Cable Luber Tool - A Must-Have Set of 2 by Marcus Merritt

I bought three. Tried to pinch Mazda Miata throttle cable. Both the cable sleeve and the cable are in the clamping area of this tool. I tried introducing Champion Chain Lube Spray Grease which never hardens and works equally well for bike brake cables and heavier applications. In any case, Pit Posse Cable Luber (PP1721) will not be edited. Aluminum jaws OVAL. Worse still, the inner sealing surface is made of thin plastic. My previous cable lube had a thick rubber inner core. Not sure what went wrong here, molds or a cheap liner. Absolutely failed on all 3 blocks. Lubricant sprayed everywhere except on the cable housing. Do not buy.
