Only when used with Direct Connect/Aux. Cable. for playing/mixing and recording my midi files from my digital piano. It's terrible! THEY HAVE THIS HORRIBLELY HORRIBLE STATIC EVERY TIME A NOTE IS PLAYED! SIMPLY STATIC HOW THE AUDIO IS RECEIVED. very bad. They also seemed very beautiful, but appearances can be deceiving. the workmanship is good, the weight is big, the pads are nice and soft and they cancel the sound well BUT YOU CANNOT TURN THEM ON WITHOUT THE STATIC BEAT AND PLAY DIRECTLY ALONG WITH THE MUSIC/INCOMING SOUND. OUT! STATIC STATIC STATIC! HORRIBLE SOUND. JUST STATIC EVERY TIME THE SOUND APPEARS. I had much higher expectations for these headphones and after spending almost 3 hours searching for the best Chinese junk on Revain, these were 'phones' but not what I expected. I need the volume on my piano turn it up to about 15 out of 100 so they work without static electricity.
