Review on Winegard RV 7095 Ultimate Sensar Antenna by Justin Falker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality RV Antenna

Antenna works as advertised and is very reliable. Didn't go for the extra UHF extension as there wasn't room on my roof with the antenna down. This model has an internal amplifier BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE SWITCH TO OUTPUT, POWER AMPLIFIER. This is the correct model to buy to replace an existing unit. Use the old power combiner that is already built into the RV. Any brand should be fine. In my case the old net adder was defective and I had to get a new one. Without a working power adder, the antenna will not work at all. Installation requires drilling a saw hole about 2" in diameter in the roof, then potting and bolting the assembly to the roof, and then sawing the pieces to match the thickness of the roof. Therefore, you will need tools, a hacksaw, a hole saw, skills, sealant or resin, and a ladder. It took a few hours, I've never done this before. It might have been easier if you replaced the antenna with the same brand from Winegard, but mine was a different brand from 1989 so the hole size was different. Well made product with good installation instructions but installation requires some skill. I was confused by the lack of a power combiner and thought this is an antenna with no amplifier. Rest assured this is a reinforced model but the power combiner is not included and the instructions do not say about it.
