Review on ๐Ÿ›น Skateboard for Beginners and Pros - 27-inch Vintage Board for Kids and Adults - Stylish Shortboard with Swapable Wheels by Johnny Weber

Pretty flimsy if you're taller than a small teen

I bought this board as a cheap solution to avoid lugging my 38" longboard around town. I wanted something plastic so I could feel good when it's outside in the rain and something cheap so I wouldn't get mad if it gets ruined or stolen or something. First thing I noticed about this board was how flexible it is. I tested a friend's 22-inch plastic board that holds my 165 pounds, but I found the size to be too small and had a hard time supporting my feet. This board flexed immediately and not in the way I had envisioned. The trucks seemed very loose, but that's how I usually keep them, so I decided to give it a try in my hallway. As soon as I leaned into the smallest turn, the wheels would bite and I would fly away. I tried tightening the carriages but even after feeling like I had over tightened the wheel bite was still there. This board might be ok for a 12 year old 100 lb kid but not great for an adult just trying to get around quickly. I have been riding for many years and have tried all types of boards but unfortunately this is not what I was looking for.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
