I was reluctant to make this purchase as I was trying to use an adapter that went from Micro USB to USB and I didn't know if it was just for charging or for data transfer and/or OTG functionality what should be used is the Seek thermal camera which connects via micro USB and the OTG function which worked fine with my old phone which only used micro USB with my new phone which only used USB-C used. And in this attempt, my new phone didn't even recognize the device. And I was concerned that my device was designed specifically for Micro-USB connections and might not work with a USB-C phone at all. , and plugged it into my USB-C phone, my phone immediately recognized my thermal camera, ran the software and worked great. I cannot guarantee you the same result on another device. But in my experience, this adapter not only has the ability to transmit data, but it is also compatible with OTG devices. I highly recommend it.
