We love this cage - our retriever/shepherd is happy to see us and still have some free time. Although it folds and has transport when we're trying to get everyone out of the house and in the car, it seems like a lot of steps compared to all the other things we move. Besides, who wants to put it back when you're sitting in the back of the car or lying on the ground, especially when it's raining or snowing? So if you're buying a 17" x 11" box, know that it will ONLY fit through your doors and will likely require two people to lug it down the stairs or into your car. You can do it with one person, but it's very inconvenient. Otherwise, we like this box - it's lighter and more attractive than those plastic boxes.
