Reliable and versatile

This model (25" long x 18" wide x 21" high) is barely big enough for my 50 pound dog to curl up in, but I have it for Bought a 16 lb cat.to travel from New York to Texas in the cab of a truck with me and the aforementioned 50 lb dog.It was as good as it could get and the product worked well.and she became both his bed as well as his training box. I open two sides when we are around to make it more like a bed, then I just close the bed to make a drawer when unattended. The material proved asโ€ฆ

Great cage but awkward to get in and out of the house

We love this cage - our retriever/shepherd is happy to see us and still have some free time. Although it folds and has transport when we're trying to get everyone out of the house and in the car, it seems like a lot of steps compared to all the other things we move. Besides, who wants to put it back when you're sitting in the back of the car or lying on the ground, especially when it's raining or snowing? So if you're buying a 17" x 11" box, know that it will ONLY fit through your doors andโ€ฆ

Good buy in boxes, houses and pens

I wanted to use this box for agility competitions. I'm tired of lugging a metal box out of the van to agility events. I've seen many of these boxes in use by other "testers" so I decided to get one. It's lightweight, easy to set up, well made and beautiful. This doesn't work on a destructive dog, but the same goes for all soft cages. Ventilation is good in warm conditions, but you have the option to close windows and doors in cool conditions or for "privacy" - helps when your dog barks. Theโ€ฆ

Midwest Canine Camper

My dog loves ventilation and space for water and food. It's pretty easy to set up and the prices are great for our Hawaii trade winds. I like the color, the velcro and the multiple pockets. Although the box is a bit heavy, the only thing that bothers me is the color of the cardboard and the fleece. At certain times of the year, downpours can occur when the ground gets very wet and water can seep into the box. How does the board actually deal with this? I thought maybe it would be better to find

  • Easy to read control panel

  • Definitely bad product

Great portable cage

I got this cage for my German shepherd for agility competitions. It's quick and easy to set up and take down, comes with a carrying case with handles (although it's a bit heavy and bulky to carry around for very long), and has many nice features that other brands of padded boxes don't have, including: - strong mesh on all 4 sides for ventilation and visibility - covers on all 4 sides that can be folded down or rolled up and/or removed for privacy/warmth - zippered doors on 2 sides (small sideโ€ฆ

A little underpowered on the base Boxes

I bought this box (48x31x35) for my 9 month old 100lb Newfoundland dog for travel and camping. I trained him in the cage and he was fine. But the first time we actually used it, one of the supports at the end buckled because it was leaning on it. Now this side is very weak and will cause the box to tip over. He really managed to turn the whole thing on its side. Even before he bent the brace, it wasn't as strong as I expected because the braces were only at the ends; no support on the long side

Pros
  • Same as everything so far
Cons
  • Little things
