They are STRONG, THICK and true to size. They do not break when putting on and taking off and can easily be reused several times if removed carefully so that they do not turn over. I should have bought more. They're overkill for a simple quick clean if you're just trying to keep dirt off your hands, but there's no downside to using thicker gloves. They know that hard work won't break them. I've never tried anything near cars, but moving things, cleaning, and using basic tools were perfect for these gloves. They're 8 mil thick, which is excellent, and feels thick even with gloves on.
