This juicer works very well. If you follow the instructions, there should be no problems during operation. I've made juice from celery, apples, lemons, cucumbers, beets, carrots, grapes, blueberries, and kiwis. When juicing softer fruits/vegetables, it's best to combine hard and soft foods like grapes and carrots. The instructions are pretty simple. If it seems to be clogged, just run it backwards for 1 second and then back to the normal direction. I juice for about 15 minutes where I squeeze the juice from the full container it comes in and then prepare it for shots. I usually take the spout and strainer off, wipe it down and run water through about every 5 minutes to make sure the back pressure isn't too high. This doesn't seem necessary as the auger and motor are very powerful and well built. Allow the feed to flow naturally into the auger with little or no assistance (do not press down on the pieces or force them into the auger. This will destroy the motors, seize and overheat and cause permanent damage to the windings). I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure most of the negative comments here are mostly from operator error scenarios. Anyone can damage any device if they operate it incorrectly (hence the term "operator error"). It's a plastic motor. no wood chipper. Follow the instructions, activate the warranty, if you have a problem, file a claim - breathe - be civilized. Have fun. Hooray. UPDATE: I was using my juicer and it broke and it looks like there was a short in the start circuit causing it to run continuously regardless of the stop button being pressed. None of the other keys responded. Of course I activated my guarantee within 7 days as stated in the instructions. I went to mykoios.com and clicked the chat button to make a claim. A Markcom agent answered me within 5 seconds. apologized for the inconvenience and asked for my amazon order number. Shortly after (2 minutes) he informed me that they would send me a new pad. Very simple, fast and professional service. These things happen with all devices. All the equipment. I'm still giving a 5 star rating and if you have an issue I hope you enjoyed your experience with Markcom.Cheers.
