Review on Topeak Shuttle Gauge with Case, featuring an Air Pressure Dial by Ben Duncan

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very easy to use and accurate

When it comes to editing, the accuracy of gauges depends more on repeatability than the numbers themselves. Sensors can always be calibrated. When it comes to punches, actual pressure means nothing. Once you find your sweet spot (slack), that's the pressure you want to hold. That's the caliber for it. It's right every time. I modified this to work with my nitrogen system and it's great. The exhaust valve makes it very easy to control. They can deflate very quickly, or just a few pounds. This makes it very easy to set the pressure required for the dampers. It's just as accurate and less than some of the bigger brand gauges at a fraction of the cost. For less than an extra $10 I was able to modify it to work with my nitrogen tank and quick air hookup system. I screwed the end of the mini brass ball valve onto the end of the Topeak gauge. This allows me to fill my shock absorbers precisely and slowly with the right amount of air. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these or even recommend others to buy it instead of one of the more expensive ones. The build quality is phenomenal.
