Review on LUXE Bidet Non Electric Attachment Self Cleaning by Pete Juarez

Do not stick Teflon tape on plastic threads. Do not cross plastic threads. You were advised

Overall this is a good product when properly installed. Basically there are instructions. But the order needs to be changed. 1. Get REAL Teflon tape and thread ONLY two turns onto each metal thread on the T-adapter before doing anything else. Apply 4 dots of adhesive silicone to the bottom of the bidet head to hold the round rubber pads in place when trying to install the bidet. (They don't fit well enough to stay in place. Pain in the ass.) 2. Turn off the water supply and drain the tank3. Remove the water inlet hose under the tank4. GENTLY screw the tee onto the water inlet valve at the bottom of the tank. (Three is metal. The water inlet is probably plastic and will cross the threads slightly. (Tighten carefully) 5. Connect the water supply line to the tee. 6. Connect the bidet hose to the tee. CAP ( this is a real pain) in the butt to do steps 3-6 with the lid and seat removed, especially if you drop something and it gets into the bowl.Oops!8.Install the bidet per the instructions that came with the nozzle guard is flush with the toilet rim and the holes are symmetrical 9. Connect the bidet hose to the bidet (tighten gently) 10. Turn on the water supply 11. Enjoy the IMPORTANT POINTS: Use a real adjustable wrench Not that plastic crap That is included in the box. Get real Teflon tape and only use on metal threads. Make sure you don't mix up the threads on the plastic fittings . Don't over-tighten Push the plastic fittings too hard. you will break You crack the toilet fill valve, add another $20 and take it for at least another hour, go to the store to buy another one and then reinstall it. For those that had leaks, you MAY have either cracked the fitting or put teflon tape on the plastic fittings that aren't working. I installed two. No leakage.
