I bought a size medium for my 18 lb dog. I used their measuring chart to pick the correct size. The external fabric seemed to tear easily (a small tear) on something the first time it was used, but overall I am happy with the product for the price I paid. The red color provided great visibility for my dog, the vest had Velcro and snaps to secure the vest to my dog and I used the grab handle to lift her out of the water, a nice feature.This life vest provided me a great peace of mind while vacationing on a houseboat with my dog!
