An older, now broken, fibre cable almost ruined my TV's fibre out connector. I needed to use a plier to pull it out. The fit was lousy and I made a mistake of force connecting it on the back of my TV. This cable is also much easier to maneuver than my old one. If you rarely use fibre cables, be sure to align the "curve" shape when you are plugging. Buy this cable and enjoy your audio without ever needing a plier. One more note: don't forget to pull out the little plastic thingies ("dust caps") at each end first.
