This fantastic scanner is very easy to use. I have a 2015 Audi A6 and it took me 2 minutes to get it working. 1) Connect the tool to the OBDII port; 2) Install Ancel app from App Store (I have Android); 3) Start the application. Connect and run diagnostics. There are so many options that I'm still learning all the features. Most (if not all) of the information you need is right there within the app. You run a scan and it detects your features and runs various tests. It then reports the status of all systems as well as any problems found. If you click on any error code, you will be "googled" to get information about the error found so you can determine next steps. I have already found a simple solution to a problem that happened to me randomly. The scanner is small enough to be permanently attached. It's not on the go and you can connect to it and run diagnostics at any time. Once started, the application automatically connects to the scanner and is ready to use. Of course you can reset general error codes as well as maintenance reminders (if desired). What I like is that you can get all this information before you take your car to a service and you can make a smart call if you need to take it to the dealer or not. The scanner supports updates via the app, although I haven't checked until there are updates. However, it's good to know that updates will be updated as new features come out. Definitely recommend this to everyone if your car is compatible.
